GETTING HERE
​Mvubu Falls Lodge is in Lobamba, in the Ezulwini Valley, the heart of Eswatini, around 25 minutes by road from Mbabane and 40 minutes from Manzini. Below you will find the easiest ways to reach us.
By road
From Mbabane, take the MR3 (Ezulwini Valley road) towards Lobamba and follow the signs to Mvubu Falls Lodge, 0 MR3, Lobamba. The drive takes about 25 minutes. From Manzini, join the MR3 at the Matsapha interchange; the journey takes about 40 minutes. The roads are tarred and the lodge has secure on-site parking.
By air
Most international visitors fly into King Mswati III International Airport (SHD) near Manzini, about 45 minutes from the lodge, or into O. R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg, a scenic 4 to 5 hour drive that includes the border crossing. We can help arrange transfers on request.
Border crossing and travel tips
Eswatini is reached through border posts such as Oshoek, Lavumisa and Mhlumeni; please carry your passport and vehicle papers, and check opening hours before you travel. If you are driving, fill up in town, take care with livestock and pedestrians on rural roads, and avoid driving at night. Allow extra time during public holidays.
